A proud Dallas native and Head Start of Greater Dallas alumnus, Courtney’s academic journey began in DeSoto ISD and concluded at The Greenhill School. At Lehigh University, he excelled both on and off the football field, earning a Psychology degree with a Theater minor and contributing to two Patriot League championship teams while achieving the Dean's List. His leadership as Co-Chair of the C.O.A.C.H program and his role in mentoring students on substance abuse, time management, and academic success solidified his commitment to community growth.
Courtney continued his mission to impact lives by obtaining a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from West Virginia University. As a psychotherapist, he specialized in mental health and addiction therapy, serving clients ranging from children to older adults. His advocacy for youth, coupled with his expertise in individual and group therapy, underscores his commitment to fostering growth and resilience in communities.
