Courtney Elder M.A.

Founder/CEO

Mr. Courtney Elder is a specialist in personal and professional development, and a dedicated ally of the corporate and educational sectors. His energy, knowledge, and engaging presentation style have made him a favorite among staff and educators nationwide. Known as one of the cherished "I am Moving I am Learning" trainers, his extensive experience and expertise in knowledge facilitation are among the many reasons organizations are eager to collaborate with Courtney and CRC.

A Dallas, TX native and Head Start of Greater Dallas alumnus, Courtney completed much of his education in DeSoto ISD before graduating from The Greenhill School.

At Lehigh University, Courtney earned a Psychology degree with a Theater minor while playing football. He was part of two Patriot League championship teams and mentored students on substance abuse, healthy choices, time management, and academic motivation as Co-Chair of the C.O.A.C.H program. During summers, he guided minority freshmen in their transition from high school to college as a lead counselor for the Summer Excel Program. In his senior year, he joined the Student Athletic Executive Council and made the Dean's List.

Courtney obtained a Master's degree in Community Counseling from West Virginia University, working as an outpatient psychotherapist specializing in mental health and addiction therapy. Serving clients from age two to over sixty, he was a staunch advocate for children, youth, adolescents, and young adults in the community, leading individual and group sessions and programs.
